Conserve fuel- Your engine torque needs to match the demands on the machine to use fuel most efficiently. To help minimize fuel consumption, Komatsu Smart Loader Logic optimizes engine torque.
- An efficient powertrain helps maximize fuel efficiency and productivity. The large capacity torque converter allows your operators to up-shift gears faster for outstanding acceleration and maintain high travel speed in load-and-carry applications.
- Optimize efficiency with a machine working in the mode suited for the workload. For maximum fuel efficiency for general loading, run in Economy mode and choose Power mode for maximum power output for hard-digging operation or hill climbing.
- Leveraging technology to lower fuel consumption and emissions. Proprietary systems reduce particulates and seek optimal engine performance in all speed and load conditions. EPA Tier 4 final engine cuts NOx by more than 80% vs Tier 4 Interim levels.
- Your operators can set the bucket angle and remote boom positioner from the cab and adjust upper and lower boom kick-outs with the push of a button. The bucket positioner stores three horizontal settings, so operators can easily change attachments.
