Eliminate the entry gate bottleneck

Enhanced productivity in low- to mid-seam applications with an entry driver with integrated bolting system, enabling simultaneous cutting and bolting. The single-pass machine addresses the bottleneck during gate road development when the roof is weak, requiring early roof bolt installation.

Dual extendable cutterheads
  • Hydraulic cutter head extensions retract to promote easy withdrawals and flexibility when cutting corners. Wide head cuts up to 16 ft in a single pass. Power at the cutterhead is 656 HP/490 kW for outstanding productivity.

Dual roof drills
  • For quick installation of roof control, one semi-automatic Joy AFX210 roof bolter with tilt capability is fixed at each side of the miner.
Front and rear ATRS cylinders
  • To help protect the operator, four hydraulic cylinders stabilize the roof while mining and bolting. Engaged with the push of a button, the cylinders constantly pulse to ensure contact with the roof during bolting.
